Shirley Mary Manning Mouat

Shirley Mary Manning Mouat was born on Aug. 31, 1921, to Dave and Ruth Manning of Hysham. She died in her home in Billings on Feb. 14, 2016.
Shirley married Bill G. Mouat on June 21, 1946, in Hysham.
She is survived by sons Martin (Mary) of Belgrade and William of Billings; grandchildren Tom (Michelle) Dempsey of Portland, Ore., Chris of Havre, James (Bobbi) of Portland, Josh (Erin) of Kalispell, Amy (Tyson Hunter) of Bozeman, Christy (Shane Reitsma) of Billings, and Gavin, Julianna and Nicole Mouat of Abilene; great-grandchildren Eli, Amelia, Macsen Hunter, Kellen and Joe Mouat, Kaylee and Samuel Mouat, and Jessica and Joshua Dempsey.
Shirley was involved with several civic organizations and school activities throughout the years. She valued her coffee and lunch groups with friends. She most enjoyed her children and grandchildren's accomplishments, and followed them closely. They will all miss her frequent phone calls and loving support.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her brother, David Manning; sister Vivian LaSalle; and son Marvin.
A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Funeral mass will be at noon on Monday, Feb. 22, at St. Patrick Co-Cathedral, 215 N. 31st St.
