Shirley A. Quanbeck

Shirley A. Quanbeck, 86, died at home on Dec. 1, 2018.
Shirley was born on Nov. 11, 1932, to Sverre H. and Genevieve Quanbeck. She attended grade school in Blue Creek and graduated from Shepherd High School. From 1952 to 1956, Shirley served in the U.S. Navy. Following her discharge, she worked at the brickyard in Billings. She later moved to Bozeman and took a position at the Gallatin Field Airport as bookkeeper and administrative assistant.
Shirley was very involved with her extended family. She exhibited great love and care for her many nieces and nephews. She loved to travel, garden and read. Shirley will be remembered as a very loving aunt.
Shirley was preceded in death by her brother Robert Quanbeck and sister Elizabeth Trusler. She is survived by brothers Maurice Quanbeck of Bozeman, James Quanbeck of Fredericksburg, PA; and 13 nieces and nephews.
Private interment will be held at Mountview Cemetery.
