Sibyl Walker

Wednesday evening, July 20, 2016, Sibyl slipped from this life to the next - "the real life." The past several days, she was surrounded by her family. Sibyl was a gentle soul, quiet and mild mannered. We celebrated the fact that she lived to be 98 and able to be part of five generations: three children, 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Sibyl was born on Feb. 18, 1918, in Crossville, Tenn. She lived most of her life in Oregon, Idaho and Washington. The past 22 years, she resided in Billings, for 19 years with her daughter and son-in-law Ginger and Stan Simmons, then three years in St. John's Lutheran Home.

Sibyl's family are very grateful for the love and care she received from the wonderful staff at St. John's - they were exemplary.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 22, at Faith Chapel, 517 S. Shiloh Road.
