I always remember going school shopping at JC Penney when Aunt Sophia worked there. That was special. I will remember Aunt Sophia as energetic and always joyful.

I first Met Sophie at the Groshelle Family reunion a couple years back, I couldn't believe how fast she was moving! I had seen people who were less than 100 before and they always were needing a little assistance with daily stuff. Sophie had just given up her driver's license and decided to sell her car! I was in awe. I also had the privilege of serving Sophie and the family at the Windmill for her last Birthday, I got many comments from fellow staff about how cute she was, and many shocked faces when I told them she was 101! There were several other birthdays in the restaurant that evening and Sophie could have ran circles around all of them. She was an incredible lady! She will be dearly missed by my Husband Bryan and I and all the family!
