Stanley Martin Hertz July 30, 1934 – December 12, 2016

Stanley Martin Hertz, a longtime resident of Bermuda Dunes, CA and owner of Hertz Builders General Contracting, passed away suddenly on December 12, 2016.

Stan is survived by his loving wife, Carol. They shared an incredible journey over the span of 51 years together. Born in Bridger, MT, he was the 4th son of Jacob and Margaret Hertz. He attended Central High School in Billings, MT. Stan served in the United States Marine Corp as a Jr. DI, then became a MP. He is an honorary member of the American Legion. Stan enjoyed spending all his free time with his family camping and waterskiing. He also enjoyed hunting excursions with his brothers in MT, the Hertz-Geiger family reunions, and vacationing in northern California with his in-laws. After he and Carol raised their daughters, he enjoyed many wonderful vacations with his wife and family throughout the United States. Stan will be remembered most for his warm compassion, loving heart, beautiful smile and for always doing the right thing. Stan is survived by his wife Carol, daughters Kathleen and Pamela Hertz; granddaughters Alexix Albert and Alicia Davis; grandsons Joshua and Zachary Ramey and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Avenue, Billings, MT 59102 with interment in Rockvale Cemetery.
