Steven Scott Peil 2-23-1966 — 12-15-2017

Steven Scott Peil, beloved son of JoAnn and Lyle Peil, passed away in the presence of friends on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017. Steve died from natural causes brought on by long-term health issues.

Steve grew up in Billings, and was a graduate of West High School class of 1984. He enjoyed family gatherings, fishing, shooting, riding three wheelers and driving tractor on the family farm. Steve was a kind man who loved being at home with his family and spending time with friends. He enjoyed good food and drink, hanging out, and playing pool with his friends. As a young man, he played baseball, participated in cub scouts, and loved riding wheelies on his bicycle. Steve had a great sense of humor, and he enjoyed joking around with those he loved. He livened family gatherings with his wit and charm. He was a kind and gentle soul, who was loved by his family and all who knew him. He was taken too soon, and he will be sorely missed.

Steve is survived by his mother JoAnn, father Lyle, sister Teresa (Brian) Grayson, niece Amanda Grayson, nephew Isaiah Grayson, and numerous other relatives.

Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Billings.
