Susan Marcy Thayer passed away May 6, 2017, from cancer.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Aldine, and is survived by her father, Thomas Thayer; her brothers, Mel and John; her sister Maria; and nieces and nephews.
Marcy was born in Dallas, Oregon, and spent her childhood in Oregon. She spent her life serving others in retail and as a substitute teacher. Marcy also spent many years fundraising for breast cancer awareness in honor of her mother. Marcy moved to Montana in the '90s to be nearer to her father.
We will miss Marcy's robust personality and all of the hard work that she had done on many projects in her life. Thank you, Marcy, for being a wonderful woman.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Donations can be made in Marcy's name to PEAKS.
