Tamera “Tami” Sue Noble, 63, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Friday, July 7, 2023.
Tami was born on Feb. 7, 1960, in Billings, to David and Joyce Drake. In her younger years, she could be found being lovingly teased by her big brother, Gary, learning many recipes that she would pass down from her mother and following in her parent’s footsteps of faith. She spoke fondly of dusting all the fancy figurines in her Aunt Harriet’s house and all the times she spent with her cousins. She played the piano and violin, was active in Billings Bible Church growing up, a part of Clydehurst Christian Ranch, and also had an amazing artistic talent.
Tami spent the first 26 years of her life in Billings. She graduated from Billings West High and completed some collegiate work in the Montana State University system before ultimately graduating from McNeese State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.
After marrying the love of her life, Tami began her great Southern adventure. She was a blessing of a mother to her daughter, Jessica, and two sons, Chad and Cassidy. She made several friendships that would prove to last a lifetime in Ponca City, Oklahoma; Houston, Texas; Lake Charles, Louisiana; and Billings.
Tami could best be described as a prayer warrior, always starting her day with a cup of coffee, her Bible, and her pets cuddled close. She passed down a powerful legacy of love and faith to her children and grandchildren. She always had a bright smile on her face and was quick to remind all “GOD IS GOOD!”
Perhaps Tami’s greatest passion was her desire to gather loved ones around her table to not only create everlasting memories but to enjoy her delicious cooking. She was infamously known for her chocolate chip cookies. This love led her to start her own business, Gathering Thyme, where she brought joy and delicious dinners to many busy families.
Tami joined the current Heavenly party that included her father, David Drake; her mother, Joyce Drake; her brother, Gary Drake; and many other precious family members and friends.
She left many waiting for the day they can see her again in Heaven. This included the many joys of her life: daughter Jessica of Billings; son Chad (Shelby) of Billings; son Cassidy (Kinsey) of Cullman, Alabama; her grandkids, Jackson, Austyn and Kayden; and numerous other family and friends.
Viewing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 17, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, at Mountview Cemetery. Celebration of life will be at Faith Chapel at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, with a reception to follow.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to Montana Rescue Mission, Wycliffe Bible Translators, or charities of choice.
