Velta R. Morton

Velta R. Morton, 76, of Billings, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at the Billings Clinic. She lost a valiant fight against cancer.
Velta was born on Aug. 9, 1941, in Huntley, to Henry and Mae Reimers. She worked at the Billings C'mon Inn for several years as a desk clerk. Velta enjoyed volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore as a cashier. She enjoyed being involved in several activities with the church and family events.
Velta is survived by her children, Sue (James) Halligan, Rich (Lori) Bell and Ray Bell; brothers, Henry (Rosalie) Reimers, Albert Reimers; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Velta was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Morton; father, Henry Reimers; mother, Mae Reimers; sister, Grace Osterhout; and brother, Duane Reimers.
A celebration of Velta's life will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24. Family and friends are invited to join us at the LDS Church, 2929 Belvedere Drive, Billings.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
