Vivian Silva left us on June 19, 2020, with her family by her side, in Billings. She was born on Dec. 2, 1935, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Deliria and Aron Alderete. Her mother was a homemaker, and her father worked for the Santa Fe Railroad in New Mexico.
Vivian spent her time crocheting, making puzzles, playing dominoes and spending time with family. She also enjoyed reading, collecting salt shakers and being outdoors. She enjoyed everyone's company and always welcomed everyone with open arms. She lived with her husband, Tony Silva, for the last 25 years, in Billings.
Vivian was an active member of the Wicks Baptist Church, where she made great friends along the way. She devoted most of her time and energy to her grandchildren and family. She was very close with her son, Stevan, who lived with her and helped take care of her after her husband passed last year.
Vivian is survived by her six children, Aron, Carmen (Carl), Millie (Pedro), Tony Jr., Stevan and Lywanda; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, all of whom she adored very much.
