William Goodhue Boyer "Bill," 92, passed away on April 1, 2017, peacefully at his home, with his loving wife, Yuphin, at his side. Bill was born in La Crosse, Wis., moving to Billings in 1965. He was a real estate agent for over 30 years. Bill was an avid outdoors enthusiast with a love of hunting and fishing. He traveling many places hunting and took many trophies.

Bill was proud to serve his country during WWII, enlisting in the Air Force in December 1942, and was honorably discharged on Nov. 10, 1945 as a Staff Sergeant.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pearl Boyer; brothers Glen Boyer and Dewight Boyer; sister June Miedema; sons Ron Boyer and Charles Boyer.

He is survived by his wife, Yuphin; daughter Carol Ann Boyer; son Tom Boyer; granddaughter Jessica George (Tyler); and great-grandson Landon George.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Inurnment with military honors will be held at Yellowstone National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Billings Food Bank - Fortin Culinary Center.
