William C. Leitz

William C. Leitz, 77, of Billings, passed away on Jan. 26, 2019, at his home in Billings. Bill was born on July 22, 1941, in Minneapolis, to Florence "Sally" and Walden Leitz.

Bill served in the Marine Corps from 1959 to 1963 as a Corporal in the Military Police. Following his honorable discharge, he joined his father in the operation of Wally's Aero Supply, a business which would continue throughout the course of his life.

He is survived by his son, Bryan (Lea Anne) Leitz and grandson Colten Leitz of Billings; sister Marlene May of Sacramento, California; and brother Dennis Leitz of Aiken, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Dennis W. Leitz.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. Interment with military honors will follow at 2 p.m. at Yellowstone National Cemetery in Laurel.

Memorials may be made to the American Legion, Yellowstone Post #4 (of which he was a member for 36 years), 1540 Broadwater Ave., Billings, MT 59102.
