Yvonne Evangeline "Toots" Ludtke was born February 6, 1910 in New Franken, Wisconsin, the daughter of August and Kathryn Schauer. Yvonne passed away March 22, 2006 in Billings.

Yvonne attended school in Wisconsin. On April 30, 1934 she married Gilbert M. Ludtke in Kimball, Nebraska. They lived in Cheyenne, Casper, Torrington, Cody and Billings. They were in Cody for seventeen years. In 1952 they moved to Billings and later to Joliet. Gil passed away April 3, 1979. Yvonne moved back to Billings in 1990.

She and her husband worked in their commercial bus business, mobile home park and apartments. Gardening, raising flowers and outdoor activities were her hobbies. She was a member of Holy Rosary Parish.

Survivors include a daughter Nancy Stephens and son-in-law Hal Stephens of Placerville, California; two grandchildren, Denise Holm and Mark Stephens of San Jose, California; and a great-granddaughter, Juliette Holm of San Jose. She was from a family of five brothers and one sister.

Cremation has taken place and burial will be with her husband Gilbert in Lafayette, Wisconsin. She asked that there be no memorial services.
