Zona Marie Erickson was born on September 26, 1937 in Wolf Point, MT to Edwin & Electa (Greenwood) Erickson.

Her childhood years were spent in Wolf Point, MT and she spent several summers visiting family in Williston, ND. She attended school in Wolf Point, MT, and received her GED in 1983. She was a member of the American legion Auxiliary and Eastern Star.

Zona began dating John Henry Dunn, Jr. when she was 14 years old. They were married by common law in 1953 and made their home in Abita Springs, LA.

Zona and John had 7 children during their time together. They were divorced in December 1981. Zona moved to Wolf Point, MT to be with her mother. For a few years, she worked at Pierces Truck Stop, Stockman’s Cafe, and the Nursing Home in Wolf Point, MT.

Zona married William Forsch in December of 1983 in Glasgow, MT. They made their home in Wolf Point, MT and later divorced.

Zona moved to Billings, MT in 1996.

She enjoyed mysteries, crossword puzzles, crocheting, playing cards, watching the “Jeopardy” game show, and episodes of “Murder She Wrote”.

Zona was welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of June 27, 2012 while she was in Beartooth Manor in Columbus, MT.

Zona is survived by her brother, David Davis, a sister in law, Lois Erickson, 6 of her children, Kim Eymard, Leanne (Art) Cruz, Michael (lisa) Dunn, Neal (Sheila) Dunn, Zoe Dunn Duclo, & Kyle Dunn, 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Lannie Erickson, her son, John Cleve, one son in law, Delano Eymard, and one grandson, Timothy Paul Burke.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on September 29, 2012 in Billings, MT
