Benjamin Alfred Beverley, 80, passed away on Wednesday, September 11,2014, to spend eternity with his Lord, whom he dearly loved. Ben was born July 22, 1934, in King George, King George County, VA, to parents, Alfred and Blanche Beverley.
As a young boy he worked hard on the farm, clearing land of trees and plowing fields with mules, dreaming of being in the Air Force. In 1952 he joined the Air Force and served for 23 years. Ben retired in Billings and met Ruth who he married and their son Jon was born. Ben was employed by Cenex refinery for 20 years, he retired in 1994. He loved being with family, RV-ing, fishing, traveling, and especially attending worship services.
He is survived by his wife Ruth, sons, Jon (Nikkeal) and Benny, daughters Blanch, Linda, and stepdaughter Ann, sisters, Adel, Bertha, Mary Ann, and Alice, and favorite nephew Larry.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Elizabeth and Ethel, brother Eugene and sister Rosie of Virginia.
Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, Sept 17th at Faith Chapel. Interment with Military Honors will be 1pm Thursday, Sept 18th at Yellowstone National Cemetery.
