September 18, 2020

Mary Diane Vincelette, 82, of Billings, passed away Friday, Sept, 18, 2020. She was in the comfort of her home and with her family by her side.

The daughter of Walter and Marie Kuzara, Mary was born on Nov. 7, 1937, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She graduated from Billings Central Catholic High School in 1955. After high school, while working in Silver Gate, Mary met her husband, Darold Vincelette. She was married to Darold for 56 years, before his passing in 2013. Together, they built a special cabin just outside of Cooke City, where they spent much of their time with family and friends. Mary worked at Billings West Medical Center as a receptionist for over 20 years. She was an avid bridge player, loved gardening and cooking. But, most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic church and loved her faith.

Mary is survived by her daughter Debbie (Gene) Holman of Billings; four sons, Steven (Mary) of Phoenix, Kevin (Brenda) of Billings, Dan (Debbie) of Marysville, Washington, and Randy (Nicole) of Chandler, Arizona; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom of Minneapolis and Tomas of Grass Valley, California, all who brought joy to her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darold; parents; sister, Dorothy; and sister-in-law, Winnie.

Mary has left her family and friends with many loving memories and she will never be forgotten.

The family will hold a private funeral services at St. Thomas Church. Mary will be buried next to her husband, Darold, at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

We had many great times as kids and rekindled our friendship as adults in Arizona. Many golfing days, dinners together , games and cards. Also many trips on ATV around Cooke City. I’ll miss my fun loving cousin.

  7. Mother-In -Law
The first time I met you
I was nervous as could be
Unsure if you would like me
But you put me right at ease
You made me feel so welcome
And I always knew you were sincere
You encouraged me with your kind words
    You took away my fears.
You treated me as your own
    In your very special way
Made me part of your family
And I treasure that today .
    Thank you for accepting me
And loving me as you do
I thank God for your family
And Blessing me with you .
    Love you Mom !

Mary was a part of our family, too. She was always so loving and positive – here is a “cheers” with some whiskey grandma. You have always been very welcomed and loved at the Parsons (which you knew)…we are so happy that you are with Grandpa (and give him a hug from us, too). Kisses, more hugs, God bless and may we meet up in heaven some day.
